Project Overview

At Mr Terabyte (PVT) LTD, we had the opportunity to modernize the online presence of EYE TEC Computers, a leading tech retailer. A few years ago, we developed their original website using PrestaShop, but with evolving business needs and advancements in e-commerce technology, we migrated the platform to WordPress with WooCommerce. This transition enabled greater flexibility, improved performance, and a seamless shopping experience for customers. One of the core challenges of this project was ensuring a dynamic and transparent pricing system that adapts based on the selected payment method. To achieve this, we developed custom WooCommerce plugins that dynamically adjust product prices and checkout fees. These plugins ensure that merchants receive the exact selling price after deducting payment processing fees, creating a fair and accurate pricing model for both the business and its customers. Additionally, the website is fully integrated with EYE TEC Computers' in-store inventory system, allowing real-time stock updates. This ensures that online customers can only purchase products that are available in-store, reducing order cancellations and improving efficiency. With this automated stock synchronization, customers always have access to the most up-to-date product availability.
