This one-of-a-kind platform offers tourists the chance to immerse themselves in authentic Sri Lankan experiences—from joining traditional weddings to taking part in cooking classes and cultural photoshoots wearing Sri Lankan attire. The website, built with WordPress, was designed to reflect the beauty and warmth of Sri Lankan culture while making it simple for tourists to explore and apply for these unforgettable experiences. Whether it's participating in a vibrant local wedding or learning how to prepare a traditional dish, the platform serves as a bridge between travelers and local hosts. It also allows Sri Lankan locals to register their weddings or events, offering them a chance to be part of this unique cultural exchange. A standout feature of the project was the development of a custom WordPress plugin built specifically to handle wedding events. This plugin enables locals to submit their wedding details, tourists to browse and join available weddings, and showcases each wedding with beautiful layouts and visuals, creating an emotional and inviting experience for all users.
